The Weiser Memorial Hospital Foundation participated in this year’s Idaho Gives Campaign, with a goal to raise $750 to help fund the purchase of a simulation manikin for the hospital’s education department. With just nine donors for the day, the Foundation realized its goal and then some raising $945.

In April, WMH’s Employees donated $4,500 toward the purchase of the Super Chloe Manikin and the Foundation committed to matching the community dollar-for-dollar on Idaho Gives Day to close the $1,500 funding gap.

“This is our second year participating in the annual Idaho Gives Campaign,” Weiser Memorial Hospital Foundation Executive Director, Casey Clark Ney said. “This year the community more than doubled its online donations from the previous year. We are so fortunate to have a generous community of hospital supporters.”

Weiser Memorial Hospital and the Foundation would like to thank Mike & Diana Henigan, James Ney Excavation, Steve & Melissa Hale, Laurel Adams, Mary Sue Roach, Irv & Aleta Leen, Torrey & Kimberly Nash, Leslie Moser, and Tim & Terri Kautz, for donating to the Idaho Gives Campaign.

Idaho Gives – a program of the Idaho Nonprofit Center – is designed to bring the state together, raising money and awareness for Idaho nonprofits. This 24-hour day of online giving took place on May 3rd.
