The new Weiser BPOE 1683 Elks year started off in great style!  Weiser Lodge was honored to host Ontario 1690, who graciously conducted the Officer Installation; as well as Boise Lodge 310 Bill Washam, who installed this year's Lodge President, Quincy Walla.  The Elks auxilliary club was equally resplendent with the installation of their new officer corps by the Weiser Lodge.  Mrs. Dee Freer was elected as this year's club President.  Congratulations to every officer at Weiser Elks Lodge.  You do so much for these communities.

Speaking of things Elks do, coming up in May is Mother's Day and Memorial Day.  May 13th is our annual recognition of Mother's Day.  We will hold a breakfast, 8:30 to 10:00 a.m.  On the Friday of Memorial Weekend, every year the Lodge goes to the cemetery and members, along with the community, put flags on MILITARY marked headstones.  We also draw up the large flags, 50 in total, along the drive.  It's a fun afternoon.  If you would like to join us, meet us at the cemetery at 4:00 on Friday, the 25th.  On Monday, the 28th, we will bring back our Memorial Day Breakfast, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.  For these two occasions, Moms and then Veterans and Active Duty will dine on us!  A breakfast donation of $6.00 from all others over the age of 12 is appreciated.

Remember that song from Disney's Beauty and the Beast - "Be Our Guest... Be Our Guest..."?  Well, that's what Weiser Elks Lodge would like you to do.  Be our guest.  Come on down and join the Thursday Night Bingo Party! Must be 18 to play.  The evening starts at 5:00 with our Hamburger/Hotdog Service open for business.  Last call is 6:30..... don't miss out and go hungry!  Bingo gets going at 7:00.
