The Idaho Agricultural Teachers Association awarded its annual awards at the recent Idaho Agricultural Teachers Association Summer In-Service in Lewiston, Idaho on June 18th - 22nd.   One-hundred and twenty-five agricultural teachers from around Idaho attended the in-service to conduct business, attend breakout sessions and tour agricultural based businesses in the Lewiston area. 

At the annual awards banquet, Jodie Mink, Cambridge High School, Cambridge FFA was award as the recipient of the IATA Outstanding Teacher of the year.  

This award recognizes those IATA members who are at the top of their profession--those who are conducting the highest quality agricultural education programs. The award recognizes leadership in civic, community, agriculture/agribusiness and professional activities. One IATA member is selected at the state level and will be submitted to compete at the regional level. 

The award was received from Sue Poland, IATA president and past Cambridge High School agricultural teacher and FFA advisor. Congratulations to Jodie Mink, Cambridge High School, Cambridge FFA teacher and advisor on this prestigious award.
