Condolences go to the family and many friends of the Evans family, following the passing of Steve’s mother, Evelyn Evans, long-time resident of Midvale who had been residing in the Salubria Assisted Living Center. Jack and I will greatly miss this special lady whom we visited every Wednesday.  Her services will be held on Saturday, November 17 in the Midvale Baptist Church.
Dean and Ethel Jessup’s daughter, Jody, came up to help her dad celebrate his 91st birthday and brought along her friend Linda, whom Ethel says they were happy to meet. They also brought up a Mexican meal, Dean’s favorite, for the celebration. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAN!
Beth Bramble was preparing for the Craft Fair in Cambridge when I called her. The event will be held at the Fairgrounds on Friday, Nov. 9, from noon until 6:00 pm and on Saturday Nov. 10 from 10:00 to 4:00. In addition to her lovely, handmade items, there are many other booths displaying a wide variety of crafts.
Terry and Kay Bonner’s granddaughter  Laura Lee and their  great-grandchildren Hayley and Makayla came to visit Friday through Sunday. Grandson-in-law John Lee helped terry provide horseback rides for the girls on  a “Haflinger” a short draft horse. Terry gave his two great-great-grandsons a ride on a Tommie’s Kody. And a good time was had by all!
