Just 3 short months away! The 2nd annual Weiser River Music Festival (WRMF) is coming up fast and what a blast it is! How great is it to have our very own music festival right here in Weiser! The WRMF is an all weekend music festival and very family friendly!
The festivities will begin on Thursday, June 20 in the Ruszoni’s parking lot with a FREE concert! 5 acts will be performing that day! The Stephen Morningstar Experience, Dodgy Mountain Men, Roma Ransom, High Pine Whiskey Yell and Thunder and Rain! Did I mention it’s FREE! It will be a great preview to what the festival will be all weekend!
On Friday, June 21st kids from VATS will be getting together to decorate a float for the fiddle parade on Saturday for the WRMF.
The WRMF truly is a fun filled festival for everyone in the family. It is an all weekend event. For those who didn’t attend last year … it is a festival! The best way to experience is staying all weekend with camping available (Tent or RV spaces) enjoying the music until dawn! There will be so many things to experience; Float the river, Goga! What is that you ask!? Goat Yoga! They have created a kids zone for the kiddos to enjoy! As well as 15-20 vendors from clothing and apparel to food and beer!
One vendor that was a hit last year and will be returning is Ogawa’s! There will be many new vendors this year; dyes, tapestries, festival inspired hats, and henna tattoos to name a few things.
Nick Reed and his team put in a lot of work and energy to make this festival one to remember and give people something to look forward to every year. Nick has also teamed up with local breweries Powderhaus Brewing Co. and Mother Earth Brewing Co. They are in the process of creating Weiser River Music Festivals very own beer for the festival! It will be available a month before and a month after the festival! It will also be available in some other locations in Weiser and Boise!
The festival is located just on the other side of the bridge. Due to the fact that this is private party and there is no curfew, so we encourage people to camp and enjoy the full experience of the music festival! For all 3 nights camping is available for $50 to $100. It will be an experience you don’t want to miss! June 20-22, 2019. Any questions contact Nick Reed here.
