The Cambridge FFA Spotlight member for February is Lauren DeVries.  Lauren is actively involved in FFA, Volleyball, Basketball, and Cheer. Lauren has competed in various FFA competitions including, Rangeland Assessment (1st Individually, State), Floriculture (1st Team), Job Interview (2nd Individually State), and Ag Sales (1st individually in Customer Relations District). She has competed at the National FFA level for Floriculture (6th Team). As well as serving as Cambridge FFA’s Vice President. Lauren also won the 2018-2019 State Proficiency Award in Agricultural Sales, and was the Western Idaho District Star in Proficiency.

Lauren’s Floriculture CDE team placed 6th nationally. Through the Floriculture CDE, Lauren and her team got the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. last summer for the American Institute of Floral Design Conference. They were able to learn about jobs in floriculture around the country as well take classes from top designers in the world. 

In the month of February Lauren won District Job Interview and won Customer Relations in an Ag Sales Competition. In addition, Lauren has done a remarkable job running our floral shop. Lauren is a great leader and a very kind and outgoing member of our FFA chapter. Congratulations Lauren Devries, Cambridge FFA February Spotlight Member.
