Both Weiser High girls and boys golf teams are headed to the 3A State Golf Championship after their hard work at Districts Monday, May 6th.

The Wolverines competed against four other schools in the district, playing an 18 hole game. Districts were held at Rolling Hills Golf Course where competitors played for a chance to secure a spot to compete at State. The Weiser boys team did well taking second place with a team score of 358, beating out the Homedale Trojans by one point. The lady Wolverines earned first place at Districts with a score of 374. Senior player Sara Lundberg walked away medaling as the top girl with a score of 80.

Both teams will be headed to the 3A State Golf Championships next week on May 13th and 14th in Twin Falls at the Canyon Springs Golf Course. Good luck at State and congratulations on a job well done at Districts.
