Congrats to our beef winners: Stephanie, Irene, Ed and Lynda. Thanks to all who bought tickets to our last fundraiser of the year. As always, your support is greatly appreciated.
Sixteen good-hearted and noisy BUNCO players kept all of us hopping last Friday night. Lots of fun with good friends. No BUNCO in December so we will meet again on Jan 17, 2020. Ask Santa for an extra $5 so you can join the hilarity and silliness.
Pat and Mary, our “twinkle toes” gals will be here on Nov. 25th to spruce up our toes before Thanksgiving. Call Janice for an appointment.. Dec. 16th is the date for the Dec. foot clinic.
This coming Weds. Nov 20th is food pantry from 2-3pm.
Dec. 4th we will have a fundraising/budget meeting at 10:30 at the Center. After lunch and the annual meeting, we will be decorating the front of the building for Christmas. If you have extra outdoor lights or other outdoor decorations, we'd appreciate using them for decorating.
Our annual meeting is scheduled for Dec. 4th. If you are interested in being a member of the Board, please contact Janice or one of the Board members. We will vote to fill the 2 upcoming vacancies on Dec. 4th.
Blas and Lisa will be here from the ID Dept of Labor on Weds. If you want to talk with them, they'll be in the card room after lunch.
You still have time to order Ursula's homemade wheat rolls for pick up on Tues Nov 26th. $7 per dozen – please pay for them when you order.
Mark your calendars for the next Ontario shopping trip on Dec. 10th.
Menus for the rest of Nov. include: Weds. Nov. 20 (noon) sweet and sour chicken, rice, green beans, rolls, salad and .berry shortcake. Fri. Nov. 22 (5:30) we'll have chili con carne, corn bread, salad, peaches and dessert. TUES, Nov. 26th is our annual Thanksgiving dinner (noon) with turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, baby peas and onions, rolls, J-ello salad, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. The Center will be closed on Fri. Nov.23rd.
Under stress relief – remember when the chips are down, it just means that the buffalo is empty. Life is good.
