To All Concerned:
I would like to take this opportunity to give you an update on the Weiser Recreation Department and the upcoming programs. As of Wednesday, March 25th we have a “stay at home” order from the state of Idaho until April 14, 2020. Because of this order, we are mandated to postpone/cancel any and all functions that have a group gatherings of 10 or more people. We have been advised to use social distancing to help slow the spread of the Corona virus.
If this “stay at home” order ends after the 21 days, we will resume with our spring activities. Youth soccer which was slated to begin this week has been postponed until the week of April 20th. Games will start later that week with Saturday April 25th being our fist games in Payette County. If this “stay at home” order is extended, we will have no choice but to cancel spring soccer all together.
Youth track has been postponed. We are currently in talks with Joyce to see if this activity can be rescheduled later in the year. We will keep you updated on what we decide.
Lindsay Grant's volleyball camp will be postponed. We are currently working with Lindsay to reschedule. Dates to be announced.
Adult Co-ed Volleyball has been canceled completely. We are still taking registrations for youth baseball. We have extended the deadline to April 22nd Because we do not know the extent or length of this pandemic, we will only be taking registrations. We will not be taking payment at this time. Please go online find the registration form, print it off and drop it off in our mail slot outside our office door. You can also pick up a form outside our door. If you have the ability to scan and email the registration form, please send to
With the uncertainty we are facing, you have 3 options if you have already registered and paid for a spring sport or camp.

1. We can give you a full refund for the spring sport. (will not refund for soccer jersey unless it is returned.
2. We can give you a credit for a future activity.
3. You can donate the fee to the recreation department.

We will have someone in the office on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m.- 12:00 weekly. We will be here to answer voice messages and emails. Please feel free to call the office at 208-414 0301. If you have questions or concerns, please email us at . Email will be the best form of communication.
I would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding through this unique situation. We at the City are taking this very seriously. We want all to be healthy and safe.
Ken Anderson
Weiser Recreation Director
